With 2016 coming in with a shaky start with various deaths of icons, celebs, etc. And within the past 5 years, death itself almost keeping a annual consistency in my family or friends, it grips my heart, and sometimes I'd ask myself "Who's turn will it be this year?" Last week I had a dream that sort of preluded my thoughts for today. I was at a train station with mom. Going on a trip somewhere. I had my ticket in hand, it looked like a regular metra ticket. I was set to go on board. She however was stopped by a man in black. Shaking his head as he took her ticket away from her and presented her with a new one.
